Terms & Conditions

To maintain a high standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with.  We appreciate that most will respect our property, but the occasional abuse requires that we state these conditions.  This is a working vineyard and therefore, at times, there will be machinery noise and vineyard staff around the property.  Please refrain from entering the vineyards and the sheds to ensure our bio-security protocols are upheld.

 

By confirming your booking, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Booking

  • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the deposit constitutes the guest’s acceptance of these terms & conditions.

  • Balance: The full balance of the booking must be received 30 days prior to arrival. If not, the property coordinators have the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let the property.

 

Cancellations​

  • 100% refund of amount paid if cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival.

  • 50% refund of amount if cancelled at least 14 days prior to arrival

  • 25% refund of amount if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival, except if the Homestead has been able to be re-booked for the cancelled dates.

 

Date Change

  • Permitted within reason.

 

Bond

  • A $300 refundable bond per house per stay will be added to your accommodation total.

  • The refundable bond will be returned after your departure date, subject to conditions being met. The bond is designed to cover any costs incurred but not limited to, breakage, damage, theft, or excess cleaning requirements.

 

For All Guests

  • Swimming and/ or fishing in the dam is strictly prohibited - This is an irrigation dam.

  • No Vineyard access - If you decide to enjoy a walk during your stay, please refrain from entering the Vineyards to ensure our bio-security protocols are upheld.

  • Only confirmed guests are permitted on the property.

       Exception only applies to wedding preparations - Our property is suitable for wedding preparation where additional parties are required to

       attend the property i.e., photographers, hairdressers, makeup artists etc.

       Notification must be advised when making the initial

       inquiry or booking.

 

General

  • When a South Australian Public Holiday falls on the Friday or Monday a 3-night minimum stay applies.

  • When Easter Long weekend and Christmas fall a 4-night minimum stay applies.

  • It is the guest’s responsibility during their stay to notify the property coordinators of any damages, loss of property or breakages as soon as possible.

  • Any damages, loss of property or breakages will be charged at repair/replacement cost.

  • Any permanent staining may result in a replacement charge.

  • Cleaning which goes beyond the standard will be charged.

  • The owner or property coordinators take no responsibility for the guest’s personal property.

  • During Vintage (February to March) the harvest machines may operate on the property during the night.

 

Pets and Smoking

  • Pet free accommodation, with the exception to service dogs.

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the property.

 

Housekeeping on Arrival

  • The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.

  • Arrive anytime after 2pm. This may sometimes be varied upon agreement with the property coordinators prior to arrival on the property.

  • There are two separate sets of keys, one for The Vineyard House and one for The Guest Wing. The keys are in separate keypad lock boxes on the outside wall either side of the garages. The keypad numbers will be supplied closer to your stay.

  • Sports Equipment/ Board Games and Chess Board are located in the garage.

  • Please do not unplug or program the TV’s, DVD’s or air conditioners. Failure to comply may incur a service fee.

  • Please do not touch the irrigation system/ tap, solar light, or plants.

  • We suggest leaving the doors closed, due to flies and mosquitoes being prevalent at times. 

 

Housekeeping on Departure

  • The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. If, for any reason, you move furniture during your stay, please move it back to where it was.

  • Departure is 10am. This may sometimes be varied upon agreement with the property coordinators prior to arrival on the property.

  • Please load used crockery/ cutlery, etc into the dishwasher and switch it on.

  • Please leave all used towels on the floor in the bathrooms.

  • Please leave all used beds with their quilts pulled back.

  • Please turn off all appliances at the wall.

  • Please leave the BBQ Kettle clean and under the outdoor entertaining area.

  • We request all TV remotes to be left under their TV. If the remote is misplaced a replacement cost will be charged.

  • Please ensure all the Sports Equipment / Board Games have been returned to the garage.

  • Housekeeping will remove general rubbish following your departure, however, should you find yourselves with excess rubbish there are large bins located outside under the verandah of The Guest Wing.

  • Please switch off the Air Conditioner. The main control must be in the `OFF’ position.

  • Please make sure all the lights are switched off.

  • Please close all windows and blinds.

  • Please lock all the doors. This includes the interconnecting door to the separate houses but does not include the screen doors.

  • Please return the keys to the keypad lock boxes.
